Today, as I was entering a classroom, I saw a bunch of small black and white drawings, cut in squares, sitting on a table. Each was a “character” a child could choose to play in a particular play center. One was a librarian.
“Hey!” I said, picking it up and showing it to the kids,” it’s a librarian, like me!”
“Like Morgan LeFay!” exclaimed a kid.

Turns out their teachers have been reading the Magic Tree House Books to them, and Morgan LeFay is in one of them (I can’t say which, because I’ve only read the first in the series). Those are some smarty-pants preschoolers!
